MEANING / ACTION

GPs   must merge all 

If you are attempting to  merge  other Practices into 

this one, you must enter all the GPs from the other 

Practices. 

ACTION missing 

You have changed the relationship information for this 

Practice, but have not specified an Action Code. 

If you wish to amend the relationships within this 

Practice, enter `A' in the Action field.

ACTION invalid 

Only `A' or `D' can be entered in the Action field. 

Enter either `A' or `D'.

ACTION mismatch 

You have specified an Action code of `D', and have also 

amended the relationship information. 

EITHER: 

Change the Action code to `A' to amend the 

information, 

OR 

Restore the screen if you want to enter Action code `D' 

to delete the relationship information for this Practice.

ACTION no data 

You have specified an Action code of `A', but have not 

changed the relationship information. 

EITHER: 

Change the information as required, 

OR 

Change the Action code.

NEW/EXIST conflict 

You have attempted to change information in the top 

part of the `Existing Practice Composition' screen 

(entering new relationship details for this Practice), 

while at the same time changing information in the 

middle section of the screen (correcting mistakes in 

existing details for this Practice). This is not allowed. 

`D'elete only 

Only `D' can be entered in the `Action `D'elete' field. 

Either enter `D' in this field or leave it blank.

DELETION not allowed 

You are attempting to delete an existing relationship, 

but this is not permissible. Deletion of the existing 

relationship for this Practice would make the previous 

relationship  active  again. However, one of the GPs 

who was associated with this Practice in the previous 

relationship is now associated with another Practice. 

Since a GP cannot be associated with more than one 

Practice at a time, the previous relationship for this
