QMAS updates waiting 

You cannot close a practice while updates are pending 

for QMAS. Wait for one day an retry. 

CLOSURE too early 

The `Date closed' must be after the `Date registered'. 

Also, it must not be earlier than the Start Date of the 

most recent relationship for this Practice, or than the 

Start Date of any Merge Out from this Practice. 

CLOSURE vs. CONTRACT 

Practice cannot be closed if contract start date field has 

been amended. 

FUTURE CONTRACT exists 

Closure date is later than a future contract date. Cannot 

close practice whilst future contract awaits Notification 

to the QMAS. Delete the contract (by blanking out the 

Start Date and Type fields) or try again after the 

contract start date has passed. 

ADDRESS missing 

The first `Practice address' field must not be left blank. 

Enter the Practice address.

ADDRESS invalid 

The Practice address must not contain  special 

characters  such as / \ , # | @     [ ] { } _ * ~ ^ $ or  . 

Enter a valid Practice address.

POSTCODE invalid 

The postcode you have entered is not a valid postcode 

format. 

Either enter the correct postcode or leave this 

field blank.

POSTCODE missing 

The postcode has not been entered. 

Enter the postcode in the Postcode field. 

STD CODE invalid 

You have entered an STD code which contains 

something other than numeric characters. 

Either enter 

the correct STD code or leave this field (and the `Tel 

no.' and `Fax no.' fields) blank.

TEL NO invalid 

You have entered a telephone number which contains 

something other than numeric characters. 

Either enter 

the correct telephone number or leave this field blank.

FAX invalid 

You have entered a fax number which contains 

something other than numeric characters. 

Either enter 

the correct fax number or leave this field blank.

CONTACT invalid 

The Contact name must not contain  special characters  

such as / \ , # | @     [ ] { } _ * ~ ^ $ or  . 

Enter a valid 

Contact name.

DATE in use 

You have entered a Start Date for which relationship 

information is already held for this Practice. 

Enter the 

correct Start Date.
