Grid Ref 

The grid reference should be displayed for a valid postcode which is in your area. For 

the new GMS contract it is imperative that each of your responsible practices has a 

postcode with a grid reference for their main practice address. This is so the Rurality 

element of Global Sum may be calculated. The grid reference is a display only item. 

NOTE 

If you have a responsible practice which has a correct postcode, but which does 

not have a grid reference value displayed, the grid reference will have to be 

manually created. Contact your first line support team and provide them with a 

list of  National Practice Codes and their corresponding postcodes for which grid 

references need to be established.

Enter the STD code, telephone number and fax number of the Practice (optional). 

Contact name 

Enter the name of the contact person for this Practice (e.g. Practice Manager), max. 35 

characters (optional).
