Understanding the Set up New Practice Screen 

This screen is used to define  core  information for the new Practice. 

Only users with FULL access rights to the PC screen can set up a new Practice. For 

users with Read Only access or Abbreviated access, only the Qualifier field is available 

for data entry (to display the details of an existing Practice on screen 2: see page 13 8). 

Practice Code

Enter the Practice code for the new Practice. Completion of this field is mandatory. 

The format of Practice codes is either: 

           2NNNNN , where `N' represents a number (for Isle of Man, Jersey and 

Guernsey only); or 

          ANNNNN , where `A' represents an alphabetic character and `N' represents a 

number (for all English and Welsh HAs).
