GMSQP Reference Manual

USE OF THE PC SCREENS 

The PC screens allow you to: 

Add and amend  core  information for GP Practices. 

Add, maintain and delete  relationships  between Practices and GPs. 

These relationships define the composition of a GP Practice in terms of 

its constituent GPs. 

Display index lists of all Practices for which  core  information has been 

established on your HA system. 

Maintain information regarding Practice List Closures. 

If and when activated, data entered here is also automatically transmitted to the National 

Strategic Tracing Service (NSTS). 

There are eight possibilities for the qualifier which can be used to display the PC 

screens. These are:

Blank 

Enter  core  information for a new Practice. 

Code of an existing Practice

Display/amend  core  information for an existing 

Practice. 

2.

Display/enter/amend/delete codes of GPs who 

form the Practice. 

Practice code,Surgery identifier  Input/amend details of other surgeries in the Practice 

(i.e. surgeries not at the registered Practice address).

Display index of all Practices known to the system 

(codes, names, responsible HAs) in order of National 

Practice Code. 

`I,P' 

Display an index of the current status of all 

Practices' lists, in Practice Code order, within each 

PCO. 

`I,Q' 

Display index of all Practices known to the system, 

in order of responsible HA Q code (with entries 

listed in National Practice Code order within each Q 

code). 

`I,'Q Code 

Display index of all Practices known to the system 

that are responsible to that particular Q code (with 

entries listed in National Practice Code order). 

`C' 

Specify Practice List Closure. Allows you to record
