HG SCREEN

Screen 7   Population Count Screen 

This screen is read only.  It is used to display population counts, calculated at midnight 

each night, for each PCO on your organisation's database.  If no date is included in the 

qualifier, the populations at the last count will be displayed.  If a qualifier of 

SUMMARY/date is entered, populations on the specified date will be displayed. 

A pop up box is available from this screen, giving population counts for all GPs on the 

database who are not linked to a PCO. 

Directions to Display the Population Count Screen 

1. 

To display the Population Count Screen, enter a key of 

HG

 with a qualifier of 

SUMMARY

, optionally followed by a slash character 

`/'

 and a 

date

 (e.g. 

SUMMARY/23.05.2003).  The following screen display will appear.

The display shows the code and name of each PCO, as well as the population counts. 

If a date is entered in the qualifier, for which no counts exist, a status message  Status: 

No figures available for this date  will be displayed. 

If a date is entered in the qualifier, for which the counts are incomplete, a status message 

 Status: BEGUN  Count not complete for this date, please contact your support team  

will be displayed.  

If an invalid date is entered in the qualifier, a status message  Status: Date invalid  will 

be displayed.
