HG SCREEN
Understanding the Display/Amend PCO Information Screen
This screen is used to display core information for an existing PCO.
Users with FULL access rights to the HG screen can add or amend PCO core
information. Users with Read Only access or Abbreviated access can only either:
press the key to view the practice composition of the PCO; or
enter a different PCO code in the qualifier, to view details for another PCO.
NOTE
If the selected PCO has been closed, the screen display will be read only, as
shown in Figure 6 on page 12 12.
National Code
The National code of the organisation. This code cannot be changed.
Date established
The date when this PCO was first registered at any HA.
Name
The name of the PCO.
Level
The level of the PCO (1 4). These levels are defined on the first page of this chapter.
Responsible HA
The Q code of the Health Authority to which the PCO is responsible.
Date registered
The date when this PCO was registered at your HA.
Date closed
The date when this PCO was closed. If the PCO is current, this field will be blank.
Enter a date only if this PCO has permanently closed.
NOTE
Once a PCO has been closed, no further changes can be made to any of the
data for that PCO.
The date entered here effectively becomes the end date for the latest live relationship for
the PCO. See the heading Closing a PCO on page 12 12.
