GS SCREEN

As an alternative to typing the appropriate code in this field, the 

Surgery Session Type code can be selected from a pop up box.  To do 

this: 

Display the pop up box by positioning the cursor on this field, 

and then pressing the 

 and 

L

 keys at the same time. 

Select the type of surgery session by moving the highlight using 

the Up and Down arrow keys. 

Press the 

 key.

If the Surgery Session Type code you want is not displayed, you can 

move through the list of codes using the 

 and 

keys on your numeric keypad. 

Alternatively, you can go straight to the page listing your required code 

without scrolling through the entire list, by pressing 

G

.  A further pop up 

box will then be displayed, in which you can type the code you require 

and then press 

.  A list of codes including your selection will 

then appear.  Move the highlight to the code you require, using the arrow 

keys as before. 

Freq

The frequency of surgery sessions can be defined in this (optional) field.  

The possible frequency codes are:  

D 

 Daily 

W  

 Weekly 

F  

 Fortnightly 

M   

 Monthly 

A 

 Annually 

H  

 Ad hoc 

U 

 Unknown 

As an alternative to typing the appropriate frequency code in this field, 

the frequency can be selected from a pop up box.  To do this: 

Display the pop up box by positioning the cursor on this field, 

and then pressing the 

 and 

L

 keys at the same time. 

Select the frequency of this surgery session by moving the 

highlight using the Up and Down arrow keys.

Press the 

 key.

NOTE 

Up to 16 lines of surgery sessions may be entered.
