GS SCREEN

THE GS SCREEN 

(surgery details) 

The GS screen is used to enter or update surgery details.  It may be completed for 

individual GPs or for the senior GP within a partnership.  This screen is optional, and the 

way it is used will depend upon operational procedures at your Health Authority. 

Use the GS screen to hold details of: 

Surgery sessions 

Times, types and frequency of surgeries 

Surgery postal address, telephone numbers and fax number 

Surgery e mail and website address(es) if applicable 

Parking facilities available for patients 

Whether wheelchair access is available at the surgery 

Directions to Display the GS Screen

Enter a key of 

GS

 with a qualifier of the 

GP code

.

Press 

.

The surgery details will be displayed, one screen for each surgery.  If no surgery exists 

for the named GP, the screen details will be blank. 

If the selected doctor has more than one surgery, you can display details of other 

surgeries using the 

 key.
