Understanding the Quarterly FP45 Details Screen   Page 4 

This screen allows the entry of details for recovery of sick leave payment, maternity 

leave, vehicle running costs, Professional Defence Union Fees, and employer s National 

Insurance contributions screen used to enter quarterly FP45 details. 

Sick Leave Start 

Sick leave start date.  Must be of the form DD.MM.YY(YY) 

Sick Leave End 

Sick leave end date.  Must be of the form DD.MM.YY(YY) 

Amount 

Must be of the form N(NNNN).NN 

Start Mat. Leave 

Maternity leave start date.  Must be of the form DD.MM.YY(YY) 

Mat. Leave End 

Maternity leave end date.  Must be of the form DD.MM.YY(YY) 

Amount 

Maternity leave amount.  Must be of the form N(NNNN).NN 

Return to Work 

Indicates whether trainee will be returning to work after taking maternity leave. 

12 Mths Service 

Indicates whether trainee has 12 months of continuous service. 

V cle Type 

Used for vehicle running costs.  Indicates whether car, motorcycle or scooter. 

Amount 

Vehicle amount.  Must be of the form N(NNNN).NN 

Reimburse PDU 

Indicates whether PDU fees should be reimbursed for each month of the quarter.  

Defaults to YYY. 

Employer s NI  Amount

. 

  Must be of the form N(NNNN).NN
