Page 4   Partnership Shares Screen 

This screen is used to enter partnership share arrangements.  These are required so that 

the payment system can calculate the superannuation remuneration and contributions for 

each member of the partnership. 

NOTE 

A change of partnership shares will cause a separate contractual time 

period for the partnership. 

Directions to Display the Partnership Shares Screen

Note: Enter  #  before figure in a share column for salaried partners (eg #850).

Understanding the Partnership Shares Screen 

Start Date 

In this field, the start date of the first set of shares is prefilled with the partnership start 

date from page 1.  A new start date terminates the previous shares. 

Shares

The shares can be either fractions or percentages. They must total 1 or 100 respectively.  

To enter a salary the annual salary figure must be preceded by the symbol # (e.g. 

#14500).  The non salary share figures must also be input in this case.
