Dep. Override

This field can be set to `Y' to indicate that the partnership is to be paid Enumeration 

District based Deprivation in full, despite the fact the conditions for achieving full 

payment may not have been met.  

Conditions governing full payment for ED based Deprivation are as follows: 

          The partnership must offer Child Health Surveillance. 

          The partnership must offer Contraceptive Services. 

          The partnership must achieve at least the lower rate target (50%) for Cytology. 

          The partnership must achieve at least lower rate target (70%) for both 2 year 

old and Pre School Booster Child Immunisations. 

          The partnership must provide Health Promotion and Chronic Disease 

Management (CDM) programmes for Asthma and Diabetes. 

          All members of the partnership must have gained entitlement to at least Year 1 

Postgraduate Education Allowance. 

These conditions may be waived if the partnership has demonstrated that reasonable 

efforts have been made to achieve the requirements.  If this is the case, the 

`Dep. 

override'

 field should be set to `Y'. 

If nothing is entered in this field, it will default to `N' (no override of ED Deprivation 

conditions for this partnership). 

Notes  

This field provides a small space to add notes in the form of text which will also be 

shown on GP H/GP code (Historic details screen).

If a partnership is deleted, all fields will be blanked.  This can only be done before any 

payment is made to the partnership. 

When viewing an existing partnership, on the fifth line of page one two messages will be 

displayed if the practice is linked to the HA using HA/GP Links: 

"LINK PRACTICE AND DATA CAPTURE ENABLED"  

  when accessing a practice with both link code and data capture field set up 

"LINKED PRACTICE   DATA CAPTURE DISABLED" 

  when accessing a practice with a link code but with data capture disabled (data 

capture field not set to Y or &). 

NOTES 

Changes to the make up of the partnership may only be performed before 

any payment is made to the partnership. 

If an active partnership (including a partnership with a Termination Date in 

the future) has a Senior Partner who is not actively linked to a Practice via 

the PC screen, or if a partnership has a Senior Partner who is linked to a 

Practice but that Practice is not actively linked to a PCT via the HG screen, 

then the following message will be displayed in inverse flashing text on line 

23 of page 1 of the GP screen: 

GP NOT LINKED TO A PCT
