START DATE age<18 

The GP's start date must not be before GP is 18 years old. 

START > 1 yr 

The GP's start date must not be more than 1 year in the 

future. 

START DATE age>65 

The GP's start date must not be after GP s 65th birthday if 

amount present. 

START DATE age>63 

The GP's start date must not be after GP s 63rd birthday if % 

present. 

START DATE < 1.1.80 

The GP's start date must not be before 01.01.1980 if % 

present. 

END DATE missing 

Must be present if amount or % present. 

END invalid 

Must be a valid date in the form DD.MM.YY(YY) 

AVC end>Sup End 

Must be before superannuation end date. 

AVC end>Ext Pens 

Must be before Extension of Pensionable Age date, if 

present. 

END before START 

Must be after contribution start date. 

END DATE AGE>65 

QUERY message.  Should not normally be after the GP s 

65th birthday, if amount present. 

ONLY 10 yrs to pay 

QUERY message.  Normally less than 10 years after 

contributions start date, if amount present. 

NOT DAY before B DAY 

QUERY message.   Should be a day before a birthday if % 

present. 

END DATE AGE< 60 

Age on next birthday after end date should not be less than 

60, if % present. 

START date invalid 

Superannuable employment start date must be a valid date 

Before GP on list 

Superannuable employment start date cannot be before the 

GP start date entered on the GD screen. 

DATE too early 

Superannuation start date cannot be before GP's 18th 

birthday. 

GP over 70 

Superannuation start date cannot be after age 70. 

START after EXTENS'N 

Superannuation start date cannot be after Extension of 

Pensionable Age date, if present. 

OPT DATE >sup start 

Superannuation start date must be after Optant start date, if 

present.
