Directions to Make Changes to the Clinical Interests Screen 

Changes can be made to the Clinical Interests of a responsible GP, via a pop up box. 

1. 

To display the pop up box, place the cursor on the qualifier field (top right of the 

screen), and press the usual key combination.  Normally, this key combination 

will consist of pressing the 

 and 

< / >

 keys at the same time if you are 

working on an Exeter System terminal, or pressing the 

,

 and 

<   

>

 keys for terminal emulation via a PC.  However, the key combination which is 

used at your organisation will depend upon local keyboard mappings.

The right hand column of the pop up box displays a list of all the Clinical Interests 

currently noted for this GP.  The left hand column contains a list of Clinical Interests 

from which you can either: 

select additional Clinical Interests for the GP (up to a maximum of 20), or 

deselect Clinical Interests that are currently (wrongly) listed. 

Note that, although 20 Clinical Interests may be allocated to a GP, the pop up box is big 

enough to display only 19.  However, all 20 Clinical Interests will be displayed on the 

left of the screen before/after the pop up box is displayed.
