Understanding the Assistant Details Screen 

Allowance From 

Entries in this field must be a valid date and match the Assistant Start Dates.  The 

information on this line of the screen is used for calculating the assistant allowance 

payable to the GP. 

Allowance To

Must be a valid date. 

Allowance Rate 

 Must be a fraction or a percentage. 

Assistant Code 

Must be an assistant, as set up on the AS screen. 

Assistant Start

Must be a valid date.  This date defines a default Superannuation Start Date which may 

be viewed on page 2 of the AS (Assistant Details) screen. 

Assistant End

Must be a valid date. 

Type Code 

Characters allowed are F or P.  This is for reference. 

Salary  

Must be an amount less than 99999.99
