  13)  Bulk Transfer any Child Health Surveillance patients and Contraceptives 

Services patients from the GP's old local code to the new local code via 

finance job FJ CHCT. 

NOTES 

If the GP with the change of status is linked, the organisation must 

contact the GP practice before changing the GP local code.  This 

will enable the practice to process all outstanding claims recorded 

under the old GP local code prior to the organisation recording the 

GP under the new code on their system. 

If the GP who has changed the working hours commitment is the 

senior partner of a linked practice, then the required GP Links 

screens LC and PT will need to be established under the new senior 

partner code. 

It should be noted that with ongoing claims such as Contraceptive 

Services or Maternity, a change of GP local code will result in 

shared care for the patient. 

Any old claims for the GP (i.e. those before the start date of the 

new GP code) must be entered against the original GP code, 

otherwise they will be rejected.
