Application creation
. This final part of the wizard defines:
The application class name, which is defined by
Application class name
edit box. The full
classname should be in a
mypackage.Myclassname
format,
demo.efixitdemoclass
, for
example. Package names have a special meaning in Java: They are used to separate classes into
logical sub groups. In practise, package names are dirctories.
Options for file creation define if the wizard should create an application structure described in
chapter 5.
Init page name
which defines the
main entry
page
of the application (such as
index.html
or
login.jsp
)
You can see a preview of the generated Java code by pressing
Create class source
button. Please note
that this is Java code for the server application,
not
for the actual JSP/HTML front end.
Above you can see the settings (
Application class name
and
Init page name
) that were used in creating
screen shots during the writing of this document.
After you click the
Finish
button, the wizard will ask a
Application class path
. The file name and
directory should be the same as the full classname in
Application class name
edit box and reside in your
project's
src
directory.
