Using the Interface 

Displaying the Status Bar 

You see the Status Bar at the bottom of the CuteFTP window. When you hover the mouse 

cursor over a tool or menu item, the left side of the Status Bar displays a brief description of 

the item. The right side of the Status Bar displays information about the current folder in the 

Remote pane.

From the menu, select View > Toolbars > Status Bar. A check mark indicates if 

the status bar is visible. 

Displaying toolbars 

CuteFTP includes four toolbars you can hide or display.

indicates if the status bar is visible.

Lockstep folder navigation 

Lockstep folder navigation allows you to navigate simultaneously through local and remote 

folders that have the same structure.
