Check that your satellite dish is correctly aligned to ASTRA 19.2  East and that signal strength 

at the DVB S receiver is within acceptable parameters. 

Check that your dial up connection functions correctly and that you get full Internet access. 

Verify that your DVB S card is correctly installed, with the current drivers, and that the protocol 

TCP/IP is bound to the device (run the Installation Checker and pay particular attention to step 

2). 

In Step 2, verify that your IP address is a private one. 

Verify that the DVB data application associated your DVB card was started correctly during the 

tests. The proxy client installation will fail if the DVB S device or its data application are not 

running. 

Verify that your firewall allows the applications prec.exe and proxy.exe to access Internet. The 

ports in use are 9199 and 9200 

If you have any concern about the quality of your satellite dish installation, either follow carefully the 

instructions supplied with the dish for DIY installation or contact a qualified installer for assistance.
