7  Client test interface 

This last step tests the proxy client installation. 

To complete the test, the Installation Checker must make a connection to the Internet. Click `Yes' to 

accept the connection and authorise your dialler software in the normal way. 

Important Note:  

If you are using a firewall (such as 

Norton Internet Security), you 

need to configure it for the 

applications prec.exe and 

proxy.exe and grant them access 

to the Internet. The ports in use 

are 9199 and 9200.  Please refer 

to the firewall's help files for 

details. 

Windows XP users must de 

activate the integrated firewall for 

the selected connection.
