Virus Scan  

Overview 

This function allows you to use ClamAV to scan your email, home directory, 

public web, or public FTP space. Scanning consistently for viruses will help keep 

your site running properly, and can prevent many problems. 

Steps

 To access the 

Virus Scanner

, click on the 

 icon above the words 

Virus Scan

on the main screen of your cPanel interface.

 Select the part of your account that you wish to scan by clicking on the box to 

the left of its name.

 Click on 

Scan Now

 to scan that part of your site for viruses.
