Similar to the baseline survey, the majority of respondents were between the ages of 35 to
54. Among these, more than one third (37%) of them fell within the age group 35 to 44.
More than one fourth (26%) of the respondents fell within the age group 45 to 54 and
nearly one fifth (19%) were from the age group 25 to 34. Very few (8%) of them fell
under the early age group 15 to 24. Compared with the baseline survey, the proportion of
mothers exceeds the proportion of fathers. One hundred and twenty females to fifty six
males were covered in the endline survey (Table 2.1.3).
In terms of ethnicity, unlike the baseline survey, where Magar formed the dominant
ethnic group, in the endline survey, KDS (46%) formed the dominant group followed by
BCT (35%) and Magar (19%) (Table 2.1.3).
