Summary of Future Events 289
World War III begins in 2010. When the Arab nations are united under the
leadership of Iran and Iraq, the Arab forces will threaten and attack the
United States. A nuclear bomb will be used against New York City early in
the war. Next, they will threaten, attack, invade, and conquer Europe. They
will also threaten, attack, invade, and conquer large parts of Africa. They
will be stopped before reaching the equator in Africa.
The Arabs will invade Italy. The Pope will flee the Vatican, but be captured
by the Arab forces and taken to Syria. He will watch as they kill a number of
the clergy, then they will put out his eyes, bind him in chains, and take him
to a prison in Iraq. He will die, blind and imprisoned, with no one to rescue
him.
After the Arabs capture Rome and Vatican City, they will burn the churches
and desecrate the holy places. The allied forces (the U.S. and others) will
retake Rome and drive the Arab forces out of the city. What a bitter and
foolish victory this will be. The Arab forces, because they were not able to
hold the city of Rome, they will destroy Rome with a nuclear weapon.
World War III will be long and bloody; millions will be killed. The war
continues through most of the 2010's. The result of the war is that Europe
and parts of Africa will be conquered and occupied by the Arab forces for
many year.
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
The book of Revelation describes Seven Seals on a scroll opened by the
Lamb of God. Each Seal represents a set of events. This is a symbolic way to
organize and order events. The first Seal is opened and the first horseman
arrives. Each subsequent Seal of the first four Seals is equivalent to each of
the four so called horsemen of the Apocalypse.
The word Apocalypse is merely the Greek word for Revelation. The book
is named after the first word in the Greek version. But Apocalypse has come
to mean a time of great suffering and supernatural events. However, it is not
the end of the world.
The first Seal and first horseman is the war, World War III, wherein the
Arab nations conquer Europe and parts of Africa. This war and the victory
by the Arabs is represented by a white horse because it is God's will that the
Arab nations win the war and oppress the peoples of the occupied lands (as
a punishment for sin and to prepare for future world events).
