The Israelites Leave Egypt (Ex 12:37 51) 

     And on that very day the L

ORD

 brought the people of Israel out of the 

land of Egypt by their hosts.  (Ex 12:51). 

    The Israelites left slavery and oppression in Egypt to travel to the 

promised land. So  also, will the Church be freed from the years of great 

suffering to enter into the glory of the Millennium, the time of great holiness 

and peace on earth (beginning in the mid 25th century). There will also be a 

lesser time of peace and holiness after the sufferings of the Forty Years. 

    The Passover was a preparation for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the 

Cross, which delivers us out of the slavery of sin. The Passover foretold of 

Jesus' sacrifice as the one true Passover Lamb. The Passover also foretells of 

the time when God will deliver the Church out of the slavery and oppression 

of sin, into the kingdom of God on earth.
