From the Book of Daniel 83
of years, and sixty two weeks of years; and the wide path will be built again,
and the walls, in a time of anguish. And after sixty two weeks of years, the
Christ leader will be slain. And the people who have denied him will not be
his. And the people, when their leader arrives, will destroy the city and the
sanctuary. And its end will be devastation, and, after the end of the war, the
desolation will be set up.' (Dan 9:25.26).
The Christ leader appears at the end of seven weeks of years (about 1997)
and again at the end of sixty two more weeks of years (A.D. 2430). This
passage refers to two different Christ like leaders. The first is the great
monarch who is conceived or born about the year A.D. 1997. The other is
the king of the South (one of the ten kings, who rules over Israel, the Middle
East and the northern part of Africa). At that time (A.D. 2430), the kingdom
of the South will be the last bastion of Christianity; the only one of the ten
kingdoms that still tolerates Christianity. The king of the South is a
Christian. He is defeated in warfare by the Antichrist (the king of the North).
The king of the South is the Christ leader who is slain in battle in A.D. 2430
(after the 62 weeks of years). The people who have denied him, or who have
betrayed him, to cause him to lose the war and be killed, are not his own.
They are Christians, but are in some sense different from him. The Pope of
that time, who rules from Jerusalem, will also be killed. The city that is
destroyed is Jerusalem, and the sanctuary that is destroyed is the Third
Temple of Jerusalem and also the main Church of the Christian Faith,
located at Jerusalem.
The devastation at the time of the destruction of Jerusalem (Dan 9:26)
will include a great flood, less than the flood of Noah, but still the greatest
flood since Noah. This flood is second in intensity, devastation, and breadth,
only to the great flood of Noah's time. Huge areas of land will be inundated
by the oceans. The flood will cover Ireland from coast to coast, as has been
predicted by Saint Patrick.
24
This flood will be caused by a wobble in the
spin of the earth. The earth will wobble on its axis (Isaiah 24:20) causing
oceans and seas to be displaced. Entire cities, whole countries, will be lost.
This flood occurs about the year A.D. 2430. This flood occurs just before the
Antichrist gains power over nearly the whole world (A.D. 2431 to 2437).
At that time also (A.D. 2430), when the king of the South is defeated, the
abomination of desolation (a perverse imitation of the Eucharist) will be set
up. It is not devised by the Antichrist, but by false and heretical Christians.
Later, the Antichrist will make use of the abomination to try to destroy the
Church.
The sixty two weeks is a period of time (434 years) from the conception or
birth of the great monarch (his beginning) to the death of the Christian king
of the South (his end), just before the Antichrist's reign over the whole
world. The phrase the wide path will be built again, and the walls, in a time
