From the Gospel of John 47
Divinity, in the Holy Eucharist. The Church will reaffirm God's teaching
that Jesus Christ is completely present, in both His Humanity and His
Divinity, in the Holy Eucharist. The Holy Eucharist is nothing other than
Jesus Christ and the appearance of bread or wine. The Holy Eucharist is
Jesus Christ. Thus the Virgin Mary is the Mother of the Eucharist.
At that time, this teaching will cause a controversy among Christians,
among Jews, and perhaps even among unbelievers. And some members of
the Church will fall away and lose their faith because they refuse to believe
this holy teaching.
Even today, some foolish theologians, whose intellect is strong but whose
faith is weak, have written that Jesus never taught His disciples: ...unless
you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in
you. (John 6:53). Even some priests do not believe Christ is truly, fully
present in the Holy Eucharist. But I tell you, whoever trusts in his own
reasoning more than in the teachings of God, revealed through Holy
Infallible Scripture and the teachings of the Church, is not worthy to be
called a Christian or a theologian or a priest.
The reasoning of the most distinguished scholar on earth is still the
reasoning of a sinner. And even some Holy Saints of the Church at times
wrote or believed things which the Church later decided were wrong. Follow
the teaching of the Psalm: It is better to take refuge in the L
ORD
than to put
confidence in man. It is better to take refuge in the L
ORD
than to put
confidence in princes. (Psalm 118:8 9).
Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich gives witness to the truth that Jesus
really did teach His disciples about eating His flesh and drinking His blood.
She explains that the chief priests tried to use this teaching of Jesus as an
accusation against Him before Pilate. But Pilate was unconcerned with this
accusation.

The First to Throw a Stone (John 8:1 11)
The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in
adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to him, `Teacher, this
woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the law Moses
commanded us to stone such. What do you say about her?' This they said to
test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent
down and wrote with his finger on the ground. And as they continued to ask
him, he stood up and said to them, `Let him who is without sin among you
be the first to throw a stone at her.' And once more he bent down and wrote
with his finger on the ground. (John 8:3 8).
This woman broke one of the Ten Commandments, which Holy Scripture
says were written with the finger of God on tables of stone (Deuteronomy
