From the Gospel of Luke 39
Those Catholics who oppose the unification of the Protestant Church
with the Catholic Church are wrong. They will not prevail. The Church
shall be one.
Perhaps the elder son also represents some few, small groups of Christians
who initially do not accept this unity of Protestants and Catholics in one
Church. In a short time, though, these groups of dissenters and stragglers
will disappear and full unity in one Church will be realized.
The One Church
Look at the Catholic Church today. It has two parts, the Latin rite and the
Eastern rite. Both are fully Catholic, united in faith and leadership. But there
are some differences. It will be the same after the Protestant Churches
convert and unite with the Catholic Church.
There will be one Church, but with seven parts. Each part of the Church
will have the same beliefs. They will all be united under the worldwide
leadership of the bishops and, first of all, the Pope. Yet, they will have
differing traditions.
A foreshadowing of this can be seen today in a few churches in the United
States, which have converted from the Anglican faith to the Catholic faith.
They are allowed under written rules from the Holy See to use some
traditions from the Anglican service within the Holy Mass. They use some
prayers from the Anglican Book of Common Prayers. It is like an Anglican
rite within the Catholic Church. When the Anglican minister converts to
Catholicism with his congregation, he is allowed to become a Catholic
priest, even if he is married. (He does not have to give up his wife.)
This is a model for the new structure of the one Church, once the
Protestant Churches unite with the Catholic Church. There will be married
men who are priests. But many priests will remain unmarried. And no
women ministers will be allowed to become priests. Not every Protestant
minister will become a Catholic priest, but many will.
There will be seven parts of the Church. Five will be from formerly
Protestant Churches, one will be from the Latin Rite of the Catholic Church,
and one will be from the Eastern Churches, including the Eastern Rite of the
Catholic Church. All parts of the Church will be Catholic. There shall be
true unity as one Church, with submission to the Pope as true teacher and
leader of the Church, and complete unity of faith, in agreement with all of
the teachings of the Catholic Church.
The conversion of all the Protestant Churches to Catholicism will not
occur in a single day. Even the conversion of one person takes a period of
time. Conversion is a process. The conversion of millions is a long process,
which will take many years to complete. The actual process of restructuring
