This Book Was Written by me 

     Holy Scripture can never be wrong, but my interpretations of God's Holy 

Scripture may contain misunderstandings, inaccuracies, and outright errors. 

Even so, I only write for you what I believe to be true and correct 

interpretations, faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Church. 

God is Truth. Whoever loves truth loves God. 

     This book contains many predictions of future events. I am firmly 

convinced that the overall outline of events and the general time frame in 

which they will occur is correct. However, some of the details are based on 

my own reasonings and conclusions, drawn from my understanding of 

various passages of Holy Scripture. I have always written only the things 

which I believe to be true, but I am fallible and this book is fallible. The 

reader should consider that the words of Holy Scripture are completely 

infallible, but that any individual's interpretation of Holy Scripture is fallible. 

    The predictions in the book are mainly based on my interpretation of the 

Bible. I also rely, to some extent, on the words of the Virgin Mary at places 

such as La Salette and Fatima in making these predictions. My predictions 

are not based on any kind of private revelation to myself. I have not received 

any private revelation about the future. 

Errors in my Original Predictions 

    Some changes have been made to these predictions. The events which I 

predicted (in the first and second versions of this book) to occur in 1998 and 

1999 did not occur at all. I am still convinced that these predicted events will 

occur, but at a later time. In the third edition of the book, I moved the 

predicted time frame for those events a few years forward and gave a range 

of dates, rather than a specific year. However, I now believe that those same 

events will not occur until the end of the first decade of the 21st century and 

the beginning of the next decade. 

    I have repeatedly changed the dates for only a few of the predicted events 

described in this book. Those events are the war of the Arab nations against 

one another, the war of the Arab nations against Europe, and events 

associated with that war, including the destruction of New York and Rome, 

and the martyrdom of the Pope. I am still predicting that these events will 

begin in the near future, from A.D 2009 to 2013. 

    Formerly, I marked the Forty Years (see chapter 9) as beginning in late 

1998 and ending in late 2038 or early 2039. In the third edition of this book, 

I adjusted this time frame to begin in 2000 and end in 2039, but for this fifth 

edition I have to say that it could end in either late 2039 or early 2040. Also,
