AVGADMIN Basic Interface 

AVGADMIN Basic Interface is a newly created environment with user friendly interface for easier 

administration. However, the functionality available within the AVGADMIN Basic Interface is the same 

as the Advanced interface functionality. Besides that, a new Quick Reports function was added. The 

AVGADMIN Basic Interface is intended rather for smaller networks. 

The AVGADMIN Basic Interface opens in this environment:

9.1 Program Main Menu 

The program main menu offers the following options; these options are available both from the Basic 

and Advanced interface of the AVGADMIN program: 

a)

Program 

Select DataCenter    allows you to select a connection to another AVG DataCenter 

Protect DataCenter with password   the AVG DataCenter can be password protected; 

AVGADMIN will ask you to supply the password at every connection to the AVG DataCenter.
