Privilege Level 15 Commands

reload 

Syntax Description

This command has no arguements or keywords.

Usage Guidelines

Use the reload command to reboot the system.

You are prompted to verify the reload. Enter yes to confirm or no to cancel the 

reload.

Caution

All processes running on the system stop when you run the reload command. The 

system will not respond to requests from applications while it is reloading.

This command reboots the system:

reinitdb

To reinitializes the database, use the reinitdb command.

reinitdb

Syntax Description

This command has no arguments or keywords.

Usage Guidelines

The reinitdb command reinitializes the database. This erases all information 

contained within the database.
