1. Country Name 

Country, state or province, and city in which the Hosting Solution 

Engine is located. Use the 2 character code for the country and the

Full name of the organization that owns the Hosting Solution 

Engine.

5. Organizational Unit Name

(Optional) Section of the organization that is using the Hosting 

Solution Engine.

6. Common Name

Fully qualified domain name of the organization that owns the 

Hosting Solution Engine.

7. Email Address

Email address of the organization that owns the Hosting Solution 

Engine.

After generating the certificate, view it in the Web interface (Administration > 

Setup > SSL (HTTPS)). Copy everything between the BEGIN CERTIFICATE 

REQUEST and END CERTIFICATE REQUEST lines and send it to a certificate 

authority (such as Verisign). Use the authority s procedure for sending the 

certificate.

When you receive the signed certificate:

Step 1

Copy the certificate into an ASCII file on a client system.

Step 2

Using the Hosting Solution Engine Web interface on the same client, select 

Administration > Security > SSL (HTTPS).

Step 3

Enter the path to the certificate or click Browse to locate it. Then click Submit 

Certificate.

Step 4

To use the new certificate, restart the Hosting Solution Engine by running the 

following commands:

services stop

services start
