Procedure

Step 1

Select Administration > Software > Configure Backup/Restore.

Step 2

Enter the hostname/IP for the backup location.

Step 3

Enter the username you use on the backup location machine.

Step 4

Enter the password you use on the backup location machine.

Step 5

Reenter the password to verify that it is correct.

Step 6

(Optional) Specify the path to which the backup image is saved.

Step 7

(Optional) Click Use Secure Transfer to enable backup using SCP.

Step 8

Do one of the following:

a. Click Save to save the changes.

b. Click Test to make sure the backup location information is correct.

c. Click Erase to clear the fields and remove configuration information.

Test Backup Location

Procedure

Step 1

Make sure the backup location information is correct.

Step 2

Click Test.

The message  Test OK  will appear if the backup location is configured correctly. 

If the backup location is not configured correctly, you will see an error message 

explaining what is wrong.
