Find the software you want on the FTP site.

Step 4

Download the software you want from the FTP site to the repository using the 

following command:

repository add package

Creating a Remote Repository

A remote Repository can serve as the Repository for one or more Hosting Solution 

Engines. One Hosting Solution Engine can function as the remote repository for 

other Hosting Solution Engines, or the remote repository can be a Windows NT 

or Windows 2000 server.

If you are using a Hosting Solution Engine as a remote repository, see

If you are using a Windows NT or Windows 2000 server as a remote repository, 

before you define the remote Repository using the GUI, you must create the 

Repository using the Recovery CD included with the Hosting Solution Engine. 

(For more information, see the installation guide, section  Updating your Hosting 

Solution Engine. )

Procedure

Step 1

Choose an NT server to be the Repository. 

Step 2

Insert the Recovery CD included with the Hosting Solution Engine.

Step 3

A browser window will automatically open.

Step 4

Follow the instructions in the browser window to set up the remote Repository.
