Connectivity

Use this option to test device connectivity and reach ability and troubleshoot 

non responding devices.

Procedure

Step 1

Select Administration > Diagnostics > Connectivity.

Step 2

In the Device field, enter the device name or IP address for which you want to run 

a test.

Step 3

(Optional) Check the New Window check box to open the results in a separate 

window.

Step 4

Click on one of the following options, and the results box displays:

Note

Click the buttons to get a result. Pressing Enter will not work.

Ping use the 

ping

 tool to test device reach ability.

Traceroute use the 

traceroute

 tool to detect routing errors between the 

Hosting Solution Engine and the target device. 

NSLookup use the 

nslookup

 tool to look up device or host information via 

the name server. The information displayed includes: server name, server IP 

address, device name, and the device IP address.
