Chapter 7      Administration
User Management
Network Manager provides privileges limited to device management 
features.
Service Provider Customer provides limited privileges, based on what a 
typical service provider customer would use.
Note
The predefined user roles cannot be deleted, but can be modified. The System 
Administrator role, however, cannot be modified or deleted.
Each role has a set of product features that it has the right to use (click on the role 
to view the features). To view the role and domain that your user profile includes, 
select Administration > User Management > Accounts.
To add more users, the System Administrator must create additional unique login 
IDs, or user accounts. The roles assigned to your user group determines which 
Hosting Solution Engine features and devices you are allowed to access.

Adding Roles
Procedure
Step 1
Select Administration > User Management > Roles.
Step 2
From the Manage Roles window, click Add.
Step 3
In the Role Name field, enter a unique name for the new role (see 
Naming 
Guidelines, page 7 5
).
Note
Duplicate role names will only be allowed if the role names are created 
by different users.
