Chapter 5 Configuring Devices
Viewing Provisioned Devices
Field Description
Minimum Connections
The threshold value for the minimum
number of active connections that the
real server is assigned. (This will not
appear for CSM 3.x or later versions.)
Redirect Virtual Server
The virtual servers dedicated to real
servers.
This mapping provides connection
persistence for clients to real servers
across TCP sessions. (This will not
appear for CSM 3.x or later versions.)
Step 2
To place the real server in standby mode, click InService Standby. Standby mode
allows all current connections and sessions on the server to continue, but prevents
new sessions from starting. Once all traffic on the server ends, you can gracefully
suspend the server without interrupting current user sessions. To end standby
mode, suspend or activate the server.
Redirect Virtual Servers
Redirect virtual servers will appear for CSM 2.x and previous versions.
Procedure
Step 1
Click on the redirect virtual servers to view their properties. A properties table
with the following fields appears in the right pane:
Field Description
Name
The name of the server.
Address
The IP address of the server.
Protocol
The server protocol.
Port
The port number.
