Receiving PIX Device Messages

The server is unavailable at the time of the transfer (midnight).

The user does not have enough disk space.

Procedure

Step 1

Select Devices >PIX Syslog. The Configure HSE Syslog Receiver window 

appears.

Step 2

In the left pane, click Syslog Transfer. The Configure Log File Transfer window 

appears.

Step 3

Enter the following:

Field Description

FTP Server

Enter the name of the FTP server.

User Name

Enter the user name to log into the 

server.

Password

Enter the password to log into the 

server.

Confirm Password

Reenter the password.

Step 4

Click Submit.
