Managing Domains

Note

If a device is not displayed, it might not have been discovered by the 

Hosting Solution Engine. (See 

Running Device Discovery, page 4 25

.)

You can create additional domains by selecting the devices, services, and 

interfaces you want to include (see 

Adding Domains, page 4 50

). Use the Filter 

option to limit the number of devices, services, interfaces visible (see 

Receiving 

PIX Device Messages, page 4 54

).

Understanding the Table

The table displays all discovered devices, services, interfaces, and subelements 

allowed by your login. You can modify the table by:

Sorting by column click on the column heading

Expanding or collapsing the subelement tables click on the folder icon

Filtering the results click on Filter (see 

Filtering Domains, page 4 51

)

Adding Domains

Procedure

Step 1

Select Devices >Domains. The Manage Domains window displays.
