Include Links Without the WWW

This option is applicable to the link popularity searching.

Some search engines only return link popularity for the exact sub domain searched and cannot

return the link popularity of all links to all sub domains in the domain name. For example in some

search engines retrieving the link popularity for domain.com will only include links to domain.com

and not links to www.domain.com or support.domain.com.

By default Domain Name Pro retrieves the link popularity for links to the www sub domain such as

www.domain.com. When the "Include links without the www" option is selected Domain Name Pro

will perform an additional search in those search engines that require separate searches to retrieve

the links to the domain without any sub domain such as domain.com.

Note:

 Enabling this option requires that an additional search is performed for each link popularity

count retrieved (depends on which search engines are selected) and therefore will increase the

bandwidth used and decrease the overall search speed.

Include Links Within the Web Site

This option is applicable to the link popularity searching.

Some search engines allow for links within the web site for the domain name to be either included

or excluded from the link popularity count. This option allows you to control the link popularity

counts in those search engines.

Include Links Within Usefullness

Good for search engine optimization techniques as it reports

all links to the web site.

Disabled

Good for evaluating the value of an established web site as

in general the more external links that it has the more traffic

the web site will receive.
