Installation

Task 5: Install Kernel and Modules

After the first initialization step is complete, the main menu will be redrawn

like:

If there are still additional partitions to initialize and mount, as is the case

in our example partition, choose the Alternate selection, Initialize a Linux

Partition, as many times as is necessary to complete the partition initializa 

tion process on all desired partitions. (See the previous step.)

Once all of the desired partitions have been initialized and mounted it is time

to choose Next, and install the operating system kernel and any modules that

will be needed to complete the installation.
